Throughout the process of creating our digipack we received a lot of feedback from friends, teachers and classmates who all gave their opinions on what we could do in terms of themes, filters and fonts etc.
Because we wanted to make sure that our digipack was specific for target audience which was 12-21 female year olds, we had to ensure that the digipack targeted this group and gave it a little extra.
We also had to fit the digipack with our genre which was Pop Singer-Songwriter.
The Evolution of our Digipack
This was the first cover that we created, the feedback we got was that the cover background was more of a "Dance" genre. This was enhanced by the glowing font on "Patrick Fusi" which was said to be more like a David Guetta dance club album.
Following the feedback on our first cover we decided to completely change it and use a different background with a wooden floor and a Sketchup filter. This was so that the front cover would link with our back cover which the first did not.The feedback we got was that it was better but it looked more like a cartoon and again it did not look like a Pop Singer-Songwriter cover.
We therefore entirely changed the cover again following the feedback and went for the autumn leaves theme. The feedback we got was that this was the best cover we created as it looked more professional and more natural. Some people did not like how the previous covers were edited so much and preferred the simplistic approach that we have taken below.
Overall we were happy with the final outcome and glad that we listened to our audience feedback!
